Leeds Rhinos: Rookie coach Rob Burrow ready to be thrown in at deep end
PLAYING LEGEND Rob Burrow will take his first steps on the coaching ladder on Friday when a young Leeds Rhinos team face Coventry Bears at Butts Park Arena.
Burrow hung up his boots after last year’s Betfred Super League Grand Final win over Castleford Tigers to take up a new position as Leeds’ head of academy coaching.
Though he has coached in Rhinos’ scholarship, Friday will be his debut in an official first team fixture.
