Garforth's Green Lane Primary: Nicola Davies reaches competition final

A Garforth teacher with a flair for teaching languages has reached the final of a national competition.
Nicola Davies, from Green Lane Primary School, Garforth, will travel to the House of Commons in October for the Scholastic and La Jolie Ronde Primary Language Teacher of the Year Award.

Nicola, who has been teaching Spanish and French for four years, has introduced language-themed weeks and nativity plays
in French.

She has also been selected to be a primary national strategy leading teacher in modern foreign languages.
