Garforth: Driver airlifted to hospital

A driver was airlifted to hospital after a multi-vehicle crash which closed the A63 at Garforth.
A Volvo articulated lorry, a Ford Transit van, a Volkswagon Golf, a Toyota Yaris and a Citreon were involved in the smash on the A63 Selby Road at the A656 roundabout at 7.55am on Friday, April 18.

The female Yaris driver was flown to Pinderfields Hospital by air ambulance.

The less seriously injured male lorry driver was driven to Leeds General Infirmary by paramedics.
