Green Lane Primary pupils get planting

Youngsters at Garforth's Green lane Primary planted around 30 saplings as part of this year's National Tree Planting Day.

The trees were planted in the raised flower bed in the Junior Playground.

Caroline Bean, acting headteacher at Green Lane Primary said: "We will care for them in this position until they are sturdy enough to be planted elsewhere in the school grounds."
