The blues began the game slowly but started to use the pace of Kewell Morley down the left hand side and could have opened the scoring when one of his crosses found Jarad Straitton unmarked whos shot beat the keeper but hit the post and came out.

Seacroft always looked dangerous on the break and their persistance paid off when a speculative effort beat the Villa keeper and went in off the post.

The blues kept coming forward but couldn't find the end product.

In the second half Villa began to find the pace of the game too hot but kept at their task, Seacroft though began to find holes in the defence and before long created and converted another opening. Despite some great keeping from stand in keeper Jarad the pressure told and the third was scored by the opponents towards the end of the game. Villa pushed forward when they had the chance but today wasn't the day for the blues.

The second game was a tight affair and again Seacroft showed their abilities but this time Villa's efforts were equal to that of their opponents.

With good runs from midfield by Keiran Watson and Brandon Thomson aided by speedy winger Conner Lockett the whites pushed forward, unfortunately it was Seacroft who opened the scoring with a well taken finish. They were creating chances but covering defence from
Harry and Ethan kept them out. As the game moved on in the second half the same pattern of TTck and defence was played out until after sustained pressure from a corner Conner found himself unmarked to equalize. Seacroft could then have taken the lead back but a good double save from Michael Jabin in goal preserved a well earned point.

The same could be said of Seacroft's number one who also showed save hands with two or three good saves.
