The forward pack, causing all sorts of disarray in the knottingley defence, ably led by Ben s, the forwards ran hard and fast, the ball wonderfully supplied by Joe kept the momentum going wave after wave from John, Danny, Steve, Tom and Josh, this was interspersed by neat and clever foot and hand skills by the halfbacks.

The pick of the tries coming from a strong build up from the centre the ball then spread left, Kyran and Matty pressing down the left then on the fifth the ball was moved across the field by Toby then Joe finally releasing Kai to score a try from the right.

Another try which epitomised the team spirit was when Josh collected a loose ball in midfield running out wide split the defense with support left and right he unselfishly passed to Matty who sprinted under the post.

The only thing to say about the second half is
Garforth should feel proud of themselves after a shamefull display of abuse from players, coaches and supporters as Knottingley tried their best to provoke a reaction from the Tigers. This victory leaves Garforth top of division 4.

Tries: Danny 3, Ben 2, Josh 1, Matty 1, Kai 1, Steve 1 Conversions: Kyran 6/9
Coaches: Roger Slinn, Mick Taylor
