Dwain Chambers took time out from training for his first match with Castleford Tigers to visit Garforth Community College.
He talked to about 150 youngsters and answered their questions before taking a small group for a coaching session.

Alex Green, the Tigers community manager, said: "We already have strong links with the school and being able to take Dwain along was a real bonus.

"His visit was tremendously well received and he gave some very frank and interesting answers to the pupils. His coaching session went down really well and I understand that it proved very beneficial for those who took part."

The 30-year-old sprinter, whose ambitions to run in the Olympics were dashed by a drugs ban, brought his four-week trial with the Super League club to a close by playing in a reserve team friendly against York City Knights on Sunday.

Castleford won 30-16.
