Organisers of Garforth Arts Festival is offering local musicians the chance to perform at the prestigious finale event The Playground Party.
In addition to the main stage there will also be a second acoustic stage.

In addition to this the festival would like as many local musicians as possible to join in the final procession.
Festival director, Dave Evans, said: "We are planning a lantern procession which will involve hundreds of local school children who will perform music, dance and display the lanterns they have created.
"It would be really great if any local musicians who are coming to the event would like to join the procession. We are looking particularly for woodwind, brass and string players."
The Playground Party is being staged on Saturday, July 5, and runs from 1pm - 11pm featuring headline acts such as Richard Hawley, Jazz Jamaica, Flava (from Britain's Got Talent) 3 Daft Monkeys as well as Leeds bands Middleman, The Dharma, Chichino and Garforth's own Garforth Jazz Rock Band, The Shiny Band, Tin Pan Alley and The Real Macaws project.
There will also be rides, workshops, market stalls, a 2nd stage, a bar and food, and all for £12 adult £8 concession family ticket £34. Simply go to Garforth Bookshop with proof of address.
