Final preparations for Garforth's Playground Party underway

Final preparations are under way for the musical celebration that will bring this year's Garforth Arts Festival to a close.

Punk veterans Buzzcocks and Leeds pop anarchists Chumbawamba are both playing the Playground Party event at Garforth Community College on Saturday.

Other acts on the bill include the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain and the African Children's Choir.

Tickets should be available on the door, although to avoid disappointment fans are advised to buy in advance from Jumbo Records in Leeds city centre or Garforth Bookshop.
