In what turned out to be a very physical encounter the Blue team got off to a flying start when minutes after the kick off Harrison Holgate broke away from the covering defenders to score.

Brave defending maintained the lead for the blues and the second goal came from Nathan Hawkhead's drive from outside the goal area which beat the keeper high in the net.

Harrison added to his tally with a composed finish and rounded off a first half hat-trick with another well placed finish.

4-0 up at half time Villa toughed out a hard second half and increased their lead with Nathan's second of the game.

As the tackles came in Villa kept playing their football and were rewarded with the sixth and final goal of the game from in-form striker Harrison.

The Whites

The Whites found a very similar story in there game and stayed strong to open their account with a well placed free kick from Oliver Worland finding the bottom corner of the Farsley net.

Chances came and went with the occasional attack from the opposition being repelled by defenders Joseph Wicks and Oliver Worland. Villa went into the break 1-0 up.

Pushing forward the whites forced a corner from which Jack Barker drove the ball directly into the goal. A third goal was added when Kewell Morley scored from close range.

One point needed from the last fixture would ensure that Villa would be league champions.
