Garforth's top string Anton Green suffered a rare defeat in his side's 2-1 victory over Harrogate Squash II in the Kall-Kwik Harrogate and District Squash League.
Green's colours were lowered by Simon Myring in a five game thriller, Myring securing the result with just two points to spare.

Myring took the match 4-9 9-5 10-9 6-9 9-7, but his individual loss had little impact on Garforth's long rule at the head of Division One.

Garforth took 11 points from their 2-1 victory against the Harrogate side, thanks to wins by Alex Tate and Dave Perry.

Tate defeated Steve Whiteley 7-9 7-9 10-8 9-4 9-4 while Dave Perry also won a five game clash, defeating Ian Murdie 9-7 9-7 5-9 5-9 9-7.

Garforth head Division One on 191 points while Collingham, in second place on 173 points, look to be running out of time to overtake their east Leeds rivals.

Meanwhile Harrogate Squash first team are in third place on 154 while Moortown have 149 points – both well out of the title race.
