The midfielder underwent a brief trial with Rotherham United last month, playing for the South Yorkshire club's second string in a 2-1 win over Bradford City, but a loan move to Don Valley Stadium failed to materialise and he has taken up a temporary switch to Garforth Town instead.
Town are third from bottom in the UniBond League's first division after a poor start to the season and Hotchkiss' arrival has strengthened their ranks ahead of an intense run of fixtures through September and October.
Hotchkiss is well known to Garforth boss Simon Clifford having emerged from Clifford's Brazilian Soccer Schools scheme, and United have agreed to expose the teenager to a spell in non-league football.
