Villa were the better team in the early stages however the Wortley keeper was in fine form and produced three fine saves to keep the game scoreless.

Wortley rallied towards the middle of the half and with their first meaningful attack scored with a deflected shot, their lead was doubled soon after following a great run from the Wortley left winger who crossed the ball into a virtually unmarked striker who finished from close range.

The second half started again with Villa pressing, and it was not before long that Louise Boase grabbed a goal back for Villa finishing from close range.

Anna Ellington equalised not long after with a shot from the edge of the area. Villa were looking much the more likely to win now and with a goal from Rosie Fosdick and a second from Anna, Villa went on to win the game.

Player of the match was Naomi Bramley, but there were also noticeable performances from Rosie Fosdick whose midfield display turned things around at half time, and Jess Brown who played a solid role in midfield along side Rosie.
