Illness and unavailability meant that Villa started this league game with ten players

Against an inexperienced Amazones, who also had only ten players.

Villa were quickly into their stride and led 6-0 at half time with goals from Chelsea Holmes (3),Anna Ellington (2) and a sweet volley from Sophie Naylor.

Villa played the second half of the match with just 9 players after a shoulder injury to Louise Boase,just before half time.

Further goals followed from Anna (2), Bethany Jones,Rosie Frosdick (2) and Holly Jordan.

Player of the match was Bethany for solid defending and a well taken goal.

Villa now face two games in three days against the current second and fourth placed teams, needing to win both to finsh joint top.
