Straight from the start Garforth attacked and after three minutes Wistow's keeper had to make a good save from a George Miller shot. However, only 2 minutes later Ronan Booth took a long-range shot, which looped over the keeper to make it 1-0 to Garforth.

Garforth kept the pressure up, with Wistow's keeper having to make two more saves from George Miller in the 8th and 10th minutes, whilst an overhead kick from Alex Aveyard was just wide.

Against the run of play Wistow scored a goal in the 15th minute to make it 1-1. At this stage it became an even match, with both sides pushing to take the lead. Liam Cairns cleared a ball off the line in the 28th minute for Garforth.

For the final couple of minutes of the first half Wistow cleared off the line twice, and just before the break a crossball was touched in by Jake Hardie, to make it 2-1 to Garforth at half time.

The second half continued in the same vein, with Garforth maintaining the pressure on Wistow. In the 34th minute a good ball across the goal was just missed. Eight minutes later a corner ball was only half cleared by Wistow and a Lewis Edward's shot was just wide. Garforth's constant pressure paid off in the 46th minute, when a good ball was put across Wistow's area.

George Miller managed to beat the keeper to the ball and found the net to make it 3-1. Five minutes before time Kieran Binns put another good ball across goal which was slotted in by Ronan Booth to make the final score 4-1.

The final score reflected the domination that Garforth had over Wistow: Garforth defended well, the mid-fielders dominated the central area of the pitch, the wingers had a solid game and the strikers were sharp on the ball. Overall, it was the best all-round team performance of the season, which was reflected in the score.

Team: Alex Aveyard, Kieran Binns, Ronan Booth, Liam Cairns, Lewis Edwards, Jake Hardie, Liam Heaps, Josh Hill, Alex Hirst, Bradley Hoyle, Jordan Iliffe, Joe Keenan, George Miller, Sam Rayner.

Next and final match of the season is on Saturday, April 19, at home against Real Cliffe. Kick off at 10am.
