Garforth RUFC maintained the push for a top four finish in Yorkshire 4 on Saturday with a determined and dedicated victory at the Community College.
Garforth RUFC 26 Northallerton RUFC 17Using the slope and weather advantage in the 1st half Garforth opened up an 26 - 3 half time advantage thanks to tries from winger Des Claxton (2), full back Lee Dawson and prop Adam Brown.
Fly Half Andy Hayward converted three of the four attempts.

Garforth's efforts came at a price with Adam Brown and Stu Daly leaving the field after 65 minutes requiring hospital treatment after suffering severe head injuries and they were soon followed by prop Liam Brosnan who also required Hospital treatment for an injured Shoulder.
With much reorganising on the go in the Garforth pack, Northallerton added a 2nd try.
Garforth responded with pressure of their own in the Northallerton half and the referee blew for time to give Garforth victory but with several injuries Garforth must regroup before they visit Old Moderians on April 10.
