Bowls: Garforth and District Juniors fail at final post

The Garforth and District Junior side went close to defending their title when they represented Yorkshire Parks in the British Parks Junior Team Championship in Sheffield.

They came through their quarter-final against Birkenhead and semi-final against a talented North Staffordshire outfit.

But lost by 14 chalks to South Yorkshire in the final.
