Garforth folk invited to join in drama group's 60th anniversary celebrations

Garforth Amateur Dramatic Society are holding their 60th anniversary party this Saturday - and the community is being urged to join in the celebrations. Click here for more details.
The party, which boasts a 1940s theme, is being held at St Benedict's Parish Centre in Garforth on Saturday night from 7.30pm to 12pm. A licensed bar will be open till 11pm.

Tickets are £8 in advance and are available from Garforth Bookshop or Society Members.

And the Society hopes that a limited number of tickets will be available the door.

Party goers will be entertained with live music by "40's Swing" duo with additional "Big Band" (Glenn Miller etc) background music during breaks.

The party will feature a full buffet, including "40's flavour" items.

Mike Nicholls, chairman of Garforth Amateur Dramatic Society, said: "Themed dress is optional, but we believe that a lot of guests will be participating!"
