The curtain is set to be raised on Garforth Amateur Dramatic Society's latest production.
Death Walked In is due to be staged at the Miners Welfare Hall on Main Street from Wednesday, April 9 to Saturday, April 12. (7.30pm)
The play, by Bettine Manktelow, centres on lonely and high strung Celia Randolph, who is struggling against the odds to continue running her small country hotel.

Joan Mountstevens, a competent schoolmistress and her tear-away younger sister Eva, are staying at the hotel, which represents something of a romantic pilgrimage for Joan who, after 10 years, still believes herself in love with Rex.
Interference from her attractive sister, jealousy of Celia, Rex's flirtations, all under the watchful eyes of the charming ex-Intelligence ServiceCommander, lead to a suicide (or is it murder?).
The climax involves the aged gardener and the country-bred maid in a case of mistaken identity and mislaid cyanide!
The cast (in order of appearance) is as follows:
Angela Webster - Laura Oswald
George Carter - Dean Johnson
Joan Mountstevens - Erica Nicholls
Celia Randolph - Carole Hurst
Commander Roy Boothby - Anthony Mulvaney
Eva Mountstevens - Lorraine Leonard-Parsk
Rex Randolph - Martyn Drake
Director - Pam Hill
