"There is a real buzz of excitement around the place at the moment," said Garforth Arts Festival director Dave Evans.
"Ticket sales have gone really well for all events, particularly for the final event, The Playground Party, with sales from all over the UK. We are expecting between two to three thousand people at the final day on July 7."
The festival, which started on June 27, had been a huge success, said Mr Evans.
The packed programme has already included steel, jazz and rock bands and dance and drama sessions.
Apart from the headline names, a wide variety of community groups and 11 schools in the area have joined in the events and educational projects.
"The aim of the festival is to bring together local people, school children and professional artists of the highest quality," said Mr Evans. "With artists such as Courtney Pine, Kate Rusby and the Brodsky Quartet, we feel we have a line up of artists that would grace any festival in the world.
"Some tickets are still available for the events, and if you want to see the best UK musicians together on one stage for only £15 then hurry while you still can."
The Playground Party is an outdoor event and takes place at Garforth Community College on Lidgett Lane from 1pm on Saturday, July 7.
