More than 2,000 people attended the Playground Party - the finale of Garforth Arts Festival 2007.
* Click here for latest Garforth and Swillington news."It was a great success," said organiser Dave Evans. "After months of planning it was fantastic to see such a mix of people of all ages enjoying themselves. And we were lucky with the weather!"
Mr Evans thanked everybody who had taken part in the 11-day festival and the sponsors.
"The aim of the festival is to put schoolchildren and local people
together with artists of the highest quality and throughout
the 11 days we did that.
"On Saturday at Garforth Community College we had primary
and secondary schoolchildren who had been involved in educational
projects funded by the festival and stars such as Courtney Pine and Kate Rusby."
