A Kippax boy has won a part in Oliver at Drury Lane theatre in London's Covent Garden.
Ben Radcliffe beat competition from 500 hopefuls for a part as a member of Fagin's pickpocketing gang.

The 11-year-old won the part after months of auditions in London.

Mum Vicky Radcliffe, 41, said: "I'm so proud of him, I couldn't stop crying when I found out. Ben is so excited, he can't wait to get on stage.

Ben has five weeks of rehearsal, before taking to the stage alongside Griff Rhys Jones.
