Leeds rock band Stiletto Farm release new EP covering mental health after tragic death of founding member
The band, cousins Stel Robinson and T-Bone, along with childhood friend, Goose, began writing music in 2017 in honour of their founding member Jason White, who tragically died.
Lead singer and bassist Stel said: "The band started with me and my best friend when we were teenagers.

“We wrote a manifesto for what the band should be. But then my friend died, so then it was a case of starting the band.”
The name Stiletto Farm was something that had never been used before and they wanted something that sounded “glamorous and gritty”, Stel said.
Power Fantasy was released on February 14 and deals with a range of issues, from existentialism and mental health, inspired by philosopher and playwright Jean-Paul Satre.

“Nausea is my favourite song that we’ve done, it deals with anxiety and depression.
“I’ve got a real soft spot State of Stagnation on this EP. We have never played it live so can’t wait to do that and have a new music video coming out for it soon.”
So, what’s next for the band?
“This lockdown has been brilliant for creativity we’re always sending each other songs. We’re going to get straight back to the studio once we’re allowed,” Stel said.

“Manic street preachers would be my dream collaboration, lyrically they are our inspiration,” Stel added.
Stiletto Farm are playing at Motörhead Day in Blackpool on Saturday October 23 alongside headliners Motörheadache.
They are also performing at the annual charity event Metal Thunder in Harrogate on Saturday October 2, held in aid of the charity Fighting Ependymoma, which raises money for childhood brain tumour research.
