Wakefield Trinity Wildcats: Trinity want to go all way to Wembley
They won 28-16 at Huddersfield Giants last Thursday to make the last-four for the first time since 2008.
Wildcats are a big price to go any further as they must overcome high-flying Warrington Wolves – cup winners three times in the last seven years – in the semis at Leigh Sports Village on Saturday, July 30.

“But we don’t just want to settle for that; we’re looking forward to getting to Wembley, too.
“It was a tough night at Huddersfield but we had David Fifita playing great football which is a such a help for us.
“Having someone as big and powerful as that up front really helps – they didn’t know what to do with him – and he’s looking forward to the next game.”

Sixth-placed Wakefield need to improve their Super League form; they have lost three of their last four games in that competition and still need to confirm their top-eight placing despite a terrific run beforehand.
Anderson, who is in “early” talks over a new contract with his present deal up at the end of the season, admitted: “We’ve had a bit of a rough patch in the league. But we’re working hard in training and doing whatever we can to get that top-eight spot sorted. We’re definitely looking up not down. We just want to do the best we can and then if we can get a bit of a roll on and some form in these next few weeks anything is possible.”
Huddersfield stand-off Danny Brough is facing a grade B charge of a reckless high tackle which rendered Wakefield centre Reece Lyne unconscious and earned him a spell in the sin bin during his side’s 28-16 defeat by Trinity.
