Leeds Rhinos v Catalans Dragons - Teenager Levi Edwards youngest named in Rhinos’ squad
Edwards, aged 16 years, nine months and five days, is included in the initial 21-strong squad ahead of today’s visit of Catalans Dragons, although head coach Richard Agar confirmed it is “unlikely” that he will play.
Assistant-coach Chev Walker is Leeds’ youngest Super League debutant, at 16 years, 10 months and 4 days old in 1999.

Hide AdRhinos’ director of rugby Kevin Sinfield was aged 16 years, 11 months and 10 days at the time of his debut two years earlier. Leeds youngest debutant is Barry Seabourne, at 16 years and 97 days in 1963.
Rhinos coach Richard Agar has made 15 changes to his initial 21-man squad for this evening, with only Luke Briscoe and Adam Cuthbertson in contention to back-up from last Thursday’s win over Hull KR.
Jack Walker (fractured foot), Cameron Smith (broken jaw) and Brad Dwyer (coronavirus) could return and Bodene Thompson and Konrad Hurrell are available after a spell in isolation.
Eight of Rhinos’ 21 have yet to play for the club, but Agar said six will debut this evening.
