Corberan joined Leeds in June 2017 when replacing Jason Blunt as the club's under-23s coach and the Spaniard then took on a dual role upon Bielsa's appointment in June 2018 by also becoming first team coach.
The 37-year-old helped guide the Whites under-23s to the 2018-19 Professional Development League national title and United's partnership club Cultural Leonesa then expressed an interest in taking Corberan as their head coach.

Hide AdCorberan stayed with Leeds and has played an integral role in United's success with the Spaniard tasked with helping manage the link between the senior and under-23s squad whilst ensuring a similar style of play was implemented at development level.
Bielsa even said last October that he valued Corberan's opinion more than his own and Corberan has now accepted his first role in outright management in English football with the switch to Championship outfit Huddersfield Town.
Former Terriers boss Danny Cowley was relieved of his duties last weekend and Huddersfield stepped in to approach Corberan who was appointed as the club's new head coach on Thursday.
Corberan's only previous experience of outright first-team management came in Cyprus, in charge of Doxa Katokopia and then Ermis Aradippou.

"When I had a meeting in Buenos Aires with Victor (Orta) and Andrea (Radrizzani), Carlos was there as well.
"Carlos was Victor Orta’s election, agreed with the owner.
"It was accepted by me, even if I didn’t know him.
"He was a very important colleague for us, all the contributions the club did in the human aspect, the club cannot improve this."
