'So far, so good' - Leeds United's ever-present midfielder Mateusz Klich in no mood for a break
A Polish international, Klich played 59 times for club and country last season and on Saturday night racked up his 21st of the 2019/20 campaign in a Euro 2020 qualifier against Israel.
When he returns to the Leeds set-up this week, Klich will face 10 games in 39 days.
That’s just the way the 29-year-old likes it.

“It is very tough physically but I like to play games more than training. I could play as many games as we have to.”
Klich says there are no secrets to his unwavering availability for selection, but earning and keeping the favour of head coach Marcelo Bielsa has been key – that and staying injury free.
“I don’t do anything special, the daily routine is the same, I train like everyone else,” he said.

“I really enjoy the trust from Marcelo, he really trusts me and I play every game.
“That’s what I need, trust from my manager, so I can show my skills.”
His skills, chiefly creating opportunities for Leeds, have made him undroppable for Bielsa, thus far.

Hide AdKlich ranks in the top three for the most successful final third passes in the division and has played a part in 10 goalscoring attacks.
So much football and so many games have apparently not taken a toll.
“I feel okay. I’ve never played so many games and I never thought I would,” he said.
“I’m very happy that I’m able to play so many games and hope I can keep playing.
“So far I would say so good.”
