How high can Leeds United finish in the Premier League table after Arsenal, Tottenham and Everton’s results on Wednesday
Stoppage-time goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Nicolas Pepe spoiled Roy Hodgson’s final home match in charge of Crystal Palace and helped Arsenal secure a potentially vital 3-1 win in south London.
Their late goals saw the Gunners leapfrog Leeds back up to ninth on 58 points in the race for European football next term.

Hide AdEverton are eighth on 59 points, dropping Leeds to 10th, after ending a miserable run of home form to keep their slim hopes of European football alive and give 6,500 returning fans something to cheer about as they edged out Wolves 1-0 at Goodison Park.
With a game to go in the Premier League season, Leeds United have already guaranteed themselves a top-half finish and could technically, albeit not practically, sit as high as seventh come full-time at Elland Road this weekend.
Tottenham Hotspur lost at home to Aston Villa, 2-1 on Wednesday, and sit seventh, three points and three places above Leeds but with vastly-superior goal difference of 15 goals.
Eighth remains a possibility for Leeds, if a Whites win is accompanied by defeats elsewhere on Sunday for Arsenal and Everton, and while that would see them miss out on European qualification by a single place in their first crack at the top flight for 16 years, no one with any connection to the club would be grumbling.
