Ahead of La Liga's return, here's nine lesser-known stars from the division to keep an eye on when it returns to our screens, who would also be ideal summer targets for Leeds United if they secure promotion back to the Premier League.
1. Loren Moron - Real Betis
Yes, his surname is hilarious, but let's look beyond that, shall we? He was La Liga's top scorer back in October, and would be an excellent rotation option for any Premier League side.
2. Portu - Real Sociedad
The versatile attacking midfielder has played a pivotal role in his side's surge up the league table. He's scored eight goals and made seven assists in a scintillating spell this season.
3. Gerard Moreno - Villareal
The 28-year-old striker is now in his prime, a fact recognised by his breakthrough into the Spain senior side last year, which saw him score three goals in as many games.
4. Chimy Avila - Osasuna
He almost joined Barcelona during their desperate hunt for a new striker, but a bad injury scuppered the deal. Before his season was cut short, he'd scored nine goals in 18 starts.
5. Rafinha - Celta Vigo
Rafinha, currently on loan from Barca, has been his side's best play by some margin this season. There's no chance he's getting into his parent club's midfield any time soon, and deserves an opportunityelsewhere.
6. Aitor Fernandez - Levante
Statistically, he's been one of the best goalkeepers in the division this season, with an exceptional 77% save percentage - that's the highest in the league, above the likes of Jasper Cillessen and Jan Oblak.
