Leeds Combination League: HT derail Main Line to regain top spot

In the Jubilee 5-8 Play-Offs, Seacroft WMC triumphed 3-1 at home to Chapeltown Fforde Grene. Nathan Keighley scored a brace for the hosts, with Ollie Maude also finding the net. Fernando Moke scored the only goal for the away side.

Hide AdIn the Premier, an Azekya Jeffers brace helped seventh-place Chapeltown Fforde Grene Reserves overcome FC Broadway 3-2 at home. Stanley Hiamey scored the decisive strike for Chapeltown to sink FC Broadway, who replied themselves through a Marc Gunjal double.
Swillington Welfare lost 8-1 at third-placed East Leeds Celtic, and second-place Kirkstall Crusaders triumphed 3-0 at home to bottom club Harehills WMC, with Ash Hubbard (2) and Danny Redfearn netting.
In Division One, second-place Chapel Allerton obliged 3-1 away at Millshaw Park Rangers. A Dave Martin brace and a Mark Freeman finish for the away side cancelled out Chris Ward’s strike for Rangers. Eighth-placed Oulton Athletic gained a 3-2 victory away at seventh-place Bramley Town, thanks to a Jordan Potts strike and a Liam Atkinson double.
In Division Two, eighth-place Acorn beat rock bottom AFC Elford 7-2 at home. Matty Lofthouse scored five for the hosts, with Josh Simpson and Chris Simpson also finding the net. AFC Elford replied through Rayhaan Pervaiz and Khizer Sharif.

Hide AdLeaders South Seacroft triumphed 5-2 away at Corpus Christi. Danny Thorpe (2), Gary Crossley, Luke Hunter and Joe Johnson found the net for the visitors, with Corpus Christi replying through Liam Attwood and Jonathan Meridith.
A Danny Azzarro brace helped FC Horsforth Saints overcome sixth-placed Halfway 4-0 at home. Tom Broughton and Jack Pennington also notched for the hosts.
Craig Walker (2) Mike Williams and Chris Parkin ensured FC West Leeds took a point after a 4-4 draw at home to fourth-place Sporting Pudsey. Daniel Pinnington and Diego Cervantes were on target for West Yorkshire Falcons in their 2-0 home victory over ninth-placed Pudsey Athletic.
In Division 3A, second-place Halfway House Bramley gained an emphatic 8-1 home victory over ninth-placed Amaranth Athletic. Joe Standing, Luke Backhouse, Alex Waters, Danny Priestley and Kurtis Hayes all found the net for the hosts, along with a hat-trick for Brad Longhorn. Amaranth’s goal came courtesy of Ed Hanson.

Hide AdIn Division 3B, the points were shared in the 2-2 draw between hosts Millshaw Park Rangers Reserves and ninth-place Temple. Strikes from Charlie North and Josh Goodwin for Millshaw were matched by Danny Pugh and Callum Gartland for Temple. Elsewhere, eighth place Moortown Albion Reserves obliged 3-2 at home to leaders Woodcock.
Dale Venables, Nyle Rosendale and Marcus Watson all struck for the hosts. Woodcock replied twice through Craig Mullaney and Dylan Place.
East End Park meet Western Juniors in the final of the Mawson Cup, after both obliged 4-3 in the semis against FC Armley and AFC Travellers respectively.
