Met Office issues weather warning as snow and ice forecast for Leeds and Yorkshire
The yellow weather warning for snow and ice has been issued from today (Thursday) at 5pm to Friday at 11am.
The warning follows one for wintry showers leading to icy stretches from Wednesday at 4pm to Thursday at 10am.

Hide AdThe forecast for Yorkshire and the Humber from the Met Office for today said: "Largely sunny but cold through the morning, with frosts slowly clearing.
"A band of patchy rain, sleet and snow will move southwards during the afternoon, though perhaps remaining largely dry in eastern parts.
"Risk of ice on untreated surfaces. Maximum temperature 3 °C."
Tonight, the forecast says there will be some snow: "Some clear spells developing at first, before another band of rain, sleet and snow moves southwards later.
"Slight accumulations likely.
"Feeling bitterly cold in the wind. Minimum temperature -3 °C."
