Hide AdLenticular clouds are stationary clouds which mostly form in the troposphere in alignment to the wind direction.
They are often mistaken for 'UFOs' due to being comparable in appearance to a lens or saucer in shape.
Unfortunately, it seems the forecast is going to bring a lot more cloud in the coming days, with rain or cloud being predicted for every day this week according to the Met Office.
