Road closures as city plays host to Leeds 10K
Thousands of runners are set to take part in the 10th running of the Asda Foundation Leeds 10K, which starts at 9.30am on Sunday.
Closures in the city centre will start from 4am ahead of Sunday’s Leeds 10K.

Hide AdRoads affected by the closures include: Abbey Road, Great George Street, Calverley Street, Cookridge Street, Vicar Lane, Call Lane, Wellington Street, Kirkstall Road, West Street and The Headrow.
Starting at the top of the Vicar Lane – opposite the Grand Arcade, the route takes competitors towards Call Lane and Sovereign Street, along Wellington Street and out along Kirkstall Road.
The event is organised by Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All and is part of the legacy of the late inspirational Jane Tomlinson CBE.
Charlie Tatman, Run For All event manager, said: “We would like to apologise in advance to anyone inconvenienced by road closures associated with the events.
