These are the tariffs which apply, and how they work:
Fares for Hackney Carriages set by Leeds Council
Tariff 1 - Monday to Friday, 6am to 17.59pm
For the initial 176 yards or 48 seconds: £2.60
For each subsequent 176 yards / 48 secs: 20p (until meter reaches £6.60)
Then for every 195 yards, 20p until meter reaches £10.20
Then each subsequent 176 yards is 20p

This tariff applies from 6pm to 5.59am Monday to Friday and all day Saturday/Sunday until December 24
For the initial 167 yards: £3
For each subsequent 176 yards: 20p (until meter reaches £7)
Then for every 195 yards: 20p (until meter reaches £10.60)
Then for each subsequent 176 yards: 20p

How much do Hackney Carriages cost in the Christmas period?
For the initial 176 yards: £4.50
Then for each subsequent 176 yards: 30p (until meter reaches £10.50)
Then for every 195 yards thereafter, 30p (until meter reaches £15.90)
Then each subsequent 176 yards is an extra 30p
