Leeds United star Patrick Bamford gives his shirt from Liverpool game to terminally ill Wakefield boy
Bamford has been applauded on social media for the kind gesture after giving his match-worn number 9 shirt to Leeds United fan Ellis, of Horbury.
Twitter user Jayne Aspinall tweeted: "Another level of genuine heartfelt kindness."

Bamford scored in United's 4-3 defeat at Anfield in the Elland Road club's first game in the Premier League after a 16-year absence.
He is the latest in a string Leeds players to send messages of support to Ellis.

Hide AdEllis's mum Laura Pearman held early early Christmas Day celebrations on September 8 for her son, who has terminal brain cancer and is being given palliative care at home in Horbury.
Wellwishers from across the UK sent Ellis thousands of Christmas cards and at least 2,000 presents after a social media appeal went viral.
On Ellis's Christmas Eve, Leeds United invited him and his family for a VIP tour of Elland Road when he got to see the Championship trophy and score am gopal on the pitch.
Bamford spoke to Ellis via FaceTime that day and the club made a video featuring a string of Leeds stars giving Ellis their good wishes.

Hide AdThe club presented Ellis and his sisters Caitlin, 15 and Alana, 10 with full United kits among other presents.
Former United star Jermaine Beckford arranged for a United shirt signed by Leeds players to be presented to Ellis.
A Facebook appeal was launched for people to send Leeds United fan Ellis a Christmas card via Horbury Post Office along with an appeal for people to send him a present via an Amazon gift list.
Leeds United captain Liam Cooper and Beckford sent their best wishes to Ellis in video messages sent to his family via social media.

Hide AdEllis was diagnosed with rare ETMR brain cancer last October.
He has undergone two lengthy operations on the cancerous tumour at Leeds Children's Hospital as well as chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
Tragically, Laura was told in July that the cancer has spread and Ellis only had up to six months left to live.
She held early Christmas celebrations with Ellis and his sisters Caitlin and Alana and Ellis's stepdad Ashley Pearman, 33.
