The 'Tie Dye Girls' - aka Ivy Webb and Florence Wood, both aged ten - decided to create tie dye masks as a more stylish pandemic protection solution for their friends and family.
And it seems the girls, who have known each other since birth, have tapped into a gap in the market as their first drop of products sold within just two days of launching - with orders from across the globe.

Ivy said: "We decided to make the masks because the ones we were seeing on people were pretty boring. We love the tie dye trend and after making some T-shirts for ourselves during the summer holidays, we thought they would look nice as masks.
"We can’t believe how popular they’ve been.”
Florence added: “When we started telling people about Tie Dye Girls - knocking on our neighbours’ doors, flyering, Whatsapp-ing friends and family - the orders just started flooding in.
"Since the weekend we’ve sold over 50 masks and shipped as far as Greece! One thing led to another, and suddenly we were sitting at my kitchen table thinking 'we’re going to need a lot more dye’.”

They have also created promotional leaflets, hand-stamped branded cloth bags as packaging for the coverings and managed delivery of their products to what appears to be a fast-growing customer base.
Ivy's mum Hannah Limming said: "We’re really proud of the girls and their entrepreneurial spirit. It’s been a really fun project for them to work on during these strange times. They want to be creative and make things they’d enjoy wearing themselves and in the process, have created this super cool brand.”
Looking towards the future, Ivy and Florence plan to keep working together and hope to take the business world by storm.

Florence added: “We wanted something to do because we weren’t going to be doing school work. It’s brilliant how Tie Dye Girls has taken off.”
Tie Dye Girls face coverings are priced at £5 each or three for £12. Custom masks and bulk orders are priced per customer.
