Masked men left trail of destruction at The Car Lot in Huddersfield as they escaped with high value vehicles
Detectives in Kirklees today spoke about the impact on the hard-working local owner as they appealed for information about the burglary at The Car Lot.

Hide AdIt happened in the early hours of July 17 when a group of masked men forced their way into the motor garage on Manchester Road in Thornton Lodge.
They caused a significant amount of damage and escaped with a number of high value vehicles, the details of which have not been made public.
Detective Constable Joanne Jabczynski, of Kirklees CID, said: “The victim is a hard working local business man who is well established and respected in the motor trade business.
“The impact this incident has had on him is significant - not only the high financial loss but also the impact of dealing with the aftermath caused to his daily trading as a result of the damage left behind.

Hide Ad“We are appealing to members of the public if they have seen anything suspicious in the vicinity between midnight and 4.30am on the day to come forward with any information to assist with our investigation.”
