Key Battle - Kyle Bartley v Nahki Wells
Giuseppe Bellusci had a nightmare in this battle in March and Leeds suffered the consequences, losing 4-1 at home. Wells can be prone to mixed afternoons against United but Bellusci and the other defenders around him were unable to contain the forward as the second half got out of hand. Defensive errors have been a big problem for Leeds this term and Wells is a player who will punish more of the same.
Key Man - Elias Kachunga
One of Huddersfield’s many summer signings, brought in from Ingolstadt in Germany. Kachunga is a quick and powerful striker who, by all accounts, already seems well suited to the Championship. He scored in both of Huddersfield’s first two games of the season and the 24-year-old should lift some of the pressure on Nahki Wells - for so long the one source of goals in Town’s squad.

Phil Hay’s view: “Opinion is divided over how much this particular derby matters but tomorrow’s game is as big a fixture as Leeds and Huddersfield have contested in a while. Leeds need a performance and a result, and they must counter Town’s pace in attack, the factor which proved so decisive in the meeting between the sides at Elland Road last season. Confidence is clearly on Huddersfield’s side - but will they suffer from overconfidence?“
