Leeds Rhinos: Fans’ verdict on Challenge Cup triumph

Hide AdThousands of Rhinos fans made the trip down to London for the match and were full of praise for their side’s performance.
Many said it was the perfect Wembley farewell for long-serving players Kevin Sinfield, Jamie Peacock and Kylie Leuluai, who are all leaving the Rhinos at the end of the season.
Craig Scholefield, 42, of Pudsey, said: “It was absolutely fantastic.
“Leeds are on fire at the moment.
“It could not have been a better farewell for Sinfield, Peacock and Leuluai.
“They are so strong at the moment. Nobody can stop them.”

Hide AdSophie Binks, 18, of Leeds, said: “It was amazing. All the tries were great.
“It was the first time I’ve been down here.
“I’ve had an epic time and I’m going to do it again.”
Sandra Coop, 58, of Leeds, who was at the match with her husband Steve and grandsons Joshua Angus and Jack Cook, said: “They were absolutely superb. They could not have played any better.
“I think the players wanted to win it for Sinfield, Peacock and Leuluai.
“It was the first time my grandsons have been down to Wembley. They picked a good one to come to.
“I expected it to be a tight game - a lot closer than that.

Aron Murphy, 12, a Rhinos fan from Hull, said: “Leeds dominated Hull KR.
“They couldn’t keep up with them.”
