An 81-year-old man has died after his car crashed into a barrier in Leeds.
It happened at 10.20am today on Aberford Road (A642) in Garforth.
A Mini Countryman crashed into a roadside barrier near to St Benedict's Church, a police spokesman confirmed.

Hide AdThe driver, an 81-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Aberford Road remains closed in both directions while the vehicle is recovered, from Parkinson Approach, near the Tesco superstore, to Station Road.
West Yorkshire Police are investigating the crash.
