Aumir Ahmed was then involved in a dangerous police chase after officers were sent to her home in Cookridge to arrest him.
Ahmed assaulted one of the officers as he was being returned to custody when he was finally detained.

Hide AdHe was jailed for 15 months over the offences on February 14 this year.
Leeds Crown Court heard Ahmed was released on bail with conditions not to contact the woman.
He immediately caught a taxi to her home and banged on the communal door at the flats complex where she lived and pressed all the intercom buttons.
The woman saw Ahmed in a car on Iveson Drive as she walked home from shopping.

Hide AdHe approached her outside the flat and pushed her in the doorway.
Ahmed left but returned an hour later and banged on the door, demanding to speak to the woman.
Police were contacted and Ahmed sped off in his car. He drove above the speed limit on Iveson Approach, Otley Road, Spen Lane and the Ring Road.
Officers abandoned the pursuit but arrested him at his home later the same day.

Hide AdThe 25-year-old appeared to swallow something as he was in the police van on the way to custody.
Officers stopped the vehicle and went to search Ahmed.
He pushed one of the officers to the ground during a struggle.
He has previous convictions for violence and drug offences.
Jane Cooper, mitigating, said Ahmed pleaded guilty to the offences at an early stage and had problems with his mental and physical health.
Sentencing, Judge Simon Batiste said: "This is seriously aggravated by the fact that you were under strict bail conditions not to contact her and you went around there as soon as you were were released on bail."

Hide AdReferring to the driving offence, Judge Batiste said: "It was only by good fortune that people were not injured or killed by your behaviour.
"Given the nature of the driving and the way the offences were committed so soon after you were released on bail, only an immediate sentence of imprisonment can possibly be justified in this case."
