Police warn drivers again following more 'inconsiderate' parking complaints at East Keswick beauty hotspot

East Leeds police officers are urging people to 'think' about how they are parking after receiving a number of complaints about inconsiderate parking and cars causing obstruction in East Keswick.
PCSO Crossland went to Crabtree Lane in the Leeds village on Sunday following the complaints and issued five advisory notices and four verbal warnings to drivers.

Police said that when the small car park in the village is full, drivers have been parking on the footpath which makes the area unsafe for pedestrians and other road users.
They also said cars have been parking opposite bus stops and up to the junction of the road which is dangerous in a 'rural village frequented by walkers'.

Hide AdA post on the West Yorkshire Police - Leeds North East Facebook page said: "PCSO Crossland attended Crabtree Lane East Keswick, on Sunday 7th March due to complaints regarding inconsiderate parking and obstructions.
"The area is a rural village frequented by walkers and when the small car park is full, drivers have been parking on the pedestrian footpath.
"Cars have also parked opposite bus stops and up to the junction of the road making this area unsafe for pedestrians and other road users.
"5 advisory notices and 4 verbal warnings were given on this occasion.
"Please think about how you are parking. Thank you."
