Police warn drivers after issuing tickets for parking outside Leeds primary school

Officers were on 'visible patrols' outside Churwell Primary School on Friday (March 26).
West Yorkshire Police Leeds South team said a vehicle was caught by officers on the "school keep clear" zig zag markings outside the gates.

Hide AdOfficers said the markings are in place "for the safety of children" and told drivers to not park on them.
Tickets will continue to be issued to anyone caught stopping on the markings, police said.
In a social media post, the team said: "This morning, visible patrols were conducted at Churwell Primary School, unfortunately another vehicle was caught by officers to stop and park on the "school keep clear" zig zag markings.
"These are in place for the safety of the children, please do not park on them.
"Tickets will continue to be issued to anyone caught stopping and parking on them."
