Police investigate as Roundhay Park bandstand torched by fire leaving residents 'appalled'
and live on Freeview channel 276
It happened between 9pm on Tuesday April 20 and 7.45am on Wednesday April 21.
Pictures taken by residents group Friends of Roundhay Park show extensive damage to one of the benches of the bandstand, which overlooks Waterloo Lake.

Hide AdThe group said they were "appalled" at the damage to "historical structure".
The shelter has been cordoned off by Leeds City Council, who plan to repair the bandstand "as soon as possible".
A council spokesperson added: "It is extremely upsetting to see damage to one of our much loved shelters in Roundhay Park.
"We have informed West Yorkshire Police and ask that anyone who has any information about this incident to contact them directly."
The damage was reported to police at 8.30am on Wednesday.

Hide AdOfficers have launched an investigation into the fire and would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
