Man taken to hospital with serious injuries after being assaulted near Holbeck Moor Park in Leeds

Police were called to Top Moor Side, Holbeck, at 6am this morning following reports that a man had been assaulted near Holbeck Moor Park.
The victim was taken to hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries.

Hide AdWest Yorkshire Police said a man has been arrested in connection with the assault.
Officers have cordoned off part of Top Moor Side as they investigate the incident.
Bus services 55C, 65, 75 and 86 are unable to serve the inbound stop at Top Moor Side due to the closure.
A police spokesperson said: "At 6.05 this morning officers were called to Top Moor Side in Holbeck to reports a man had been assaulted.
