Hyde Park police incident: Teenager stabbed in chest as man escapes scene on Brudenell Road

A police officer patrolling Brudenell Road in Hyde Park on Thursday evening found ambulance staff treating the man who had been stabbed.
Police said the 19-year-old appeared to have been attacked in the street by a man who then drove off from the scene.

Hide AdHe was taken to hospital for treatment and later discharged.
A police scene was put in place in Brudenell Road near to the Royal Park Grove junction for forensic examination.
Police are appealing to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information to contact them via 101 quoting crime reference 13210149362.
Detective Inspector James Entwistle, of Leeds District CID, said: “We are continuing to carry out enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding this incident.

Hide Ad“The victim appears to have been attacked in the street by a male who left the scene in a car.
"We would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information that could assist the investigation.”
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Police are appealing for information after a man was stabbed in an incident in Leeds.
"At 5.48pm yesterday (25/3) a neighbourhood policing team officer on patrol in Brudenell Road, Hyde Park, came across ambulance staff treating a 19-year-old man who had received a stab wound to the chest.
