Hunt for man after sex attack on teen in Leeds
The teenage victim had been on a night out and was walking along Briggate shortly after 4.30am on Saturday January 14, when she was approached by a man.
He walked with her along the Headrow up Woodhouse Lane and onto St Mark’s Road, before going into the park between Servia Hill and Woodhouse Street, where she was attacked.

Hide AdThe suspect was described as olive-skinned, possibly Arabic, in his thirties, slim, about 5ft 8ins, with black hair.
He was wearing a brown sheepskin jacket with a white collar and had a foreign accent.
This evening West Yorkshire Police have released CCTV images of the man they want to identify following the attack.
Detective Inspector Phil Jackson, of Leeds District CID, said: “The victim contacted police on February 3 to report this incident and since then we have been carrying out extensive enquiries to build up a picture of her movements on the night.

Hide Ad“This has included checks on CCTV in the area which have given us the images of this man who we want to identify urgently.
“Clearly this has been a very traumatic ordeal for the victim and we urgently need to trace this man.
“I would appeal to anyone who recognises him or who has any information that could assist the investigation to contact us immediately.”
