Hide AdIt featured performances from West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service’s band and was preceded by a parade outside the town hall. Coun Bob Gettings, who arranged and attended the concert at the weekend, said it was a “great success”.
He said: “It was truly a concert to remember.
“There was quality music, professionally played – a great success with the town hall full to capacity.”
During the concert’s interval there was a two minutes’ silence. Last year, £38,000 was raised in Morley in total for the Poppy Appeal.
