Centre of attention for feathered friend fans at Leeds White Rose
Cute animals including chicks, ducklings and bunnies took up temporary residence in the mall’s central atrium for the fun springtime event.
Children were also able to demonstrate their eagle-eyed tracking skills by entering a mini-scavenger hunt, with an array of sweet prizes on offer.

Francesca Simpson, marketing manager at the White Rose, told the Yorkshire Evening Post: “We were really excited to bring a splash of spring to the centre.
“It was a real treat for our young shoppers to get up close to the animals during their visit.
“We have previously had donkeys and reindeer visit the centre, which went down a storm with our customers, so we’ve been looking forward to welcoming shoppers to enjoy meeting some new animals.”
Youngsters who took the chance to acquaint themselves with some of the cute and colourful characters at the White Rose petting zoo included eight-year-old Jess Boyd and six-year-old Leila Birkin.
