Cardigan Road incident: Update as police send negotiators to 'domestic incident'

Police negotiators have been sent to the scene of an ongoing domestic incident in Burley.
UPDATED AT 9.33am
The incident is now over. A 28-year-old man has been arrested at the house for a previous breach of the peace offence. Road closures are being lifted.
Cardigan Road has been shut near the Co-Op store due to concerns for a man's welfare. Buses are running to diversions.

Hide AdPolice were called just before 4am to the house where the man is.
They said:-
"Officers are at the scene and trained negotiators are speaking to the man.
"A road closure has been put in place until the incident can be safely resolved."
